A joyful reading picnic with students kicked off a wonderful day focused on community and rest for the Immanuel CRC Youth Impact Team. The afternoon was spent exploring the island’s coastline, winding down at local beaches, and soaking in the beauty of God’s creation.
Today we started out our day with very yummy pancakes! After eating, we left to go to the primary school for a reading picnic. We played games, read many stories, did crafts, and ate hot dogs for lunch. Once the kids left with their parents, we drove south down the island of Abaco to eat lunch at Pete’s Pub. It was delish!
We swam at a gorgeous beach and shortly after headed to the second beach of the day, which was Long Dock Beach. This beach was amazing, and we soaked in the glory of God’s beautiful creation. We then headed off to our last beach of the day with pink hues to the sand! It was very pretty with crashing waves onto the shore.
After a long day, with a lot of sun, we headed back to camp for a much needed dinner and went to bed. Today was a great day, enjoying God’s wonderful creation along with some rest!
