At this time, Many Hands is not accepting teams for Impact Haiti. When travel resumes, trips will focus on relationship-based work in the Pignon region, supporting education, agriculture, safe homes, spiritual development, and economic stability through our Growing Community model.

What can I expect to do on an Impact Trip?
Impact Trips combine hands-on service with cultural immersion and spiritual growth.
Activities may include:
- Construction and rebuilding projects
- Youth engagement and VBS
- Compassion ministry, prayer, and storytelling
- Agriculture and reforestation work
- Daily reflection and team debriefs
Every trip balances meaningful work with learning, ensuring your efforts align with long-term community goals.
Who is qualified to go on an Impact Trip?
Impact Trips are open to adults who are ready to serve with humility, flexibility, and a teachable spirit. No special skills are required. A willingness to work hard, respect local leadership, and engage relationally is what matters most.
How much does an Impact Trip cost? What’s included?
Impact Abaco Estimated Costs:
- Ground Cost: $850–$1,100 per person
Includes lodging, meals, ground transportation, and in-country support. - Airfare: $850–$1,400 per person
Estimated Total Cost: $1,700–$2,500 per person.
Additional details:
- $150 non-refundable deposit due 120 days prior to departure
- Airfare is arranged through a trusted travel partner to secure the best available rates
What are the key deadlines I should know?
Important planning milestones include:
- Deposit due 120 days before departure
- Remaining balance due prior to travel
- Valid passport required with sufficient remaining validity
Our Impact Trip team will guide you through each step of the process.
What is the recommended group size?
We recommend group sizes that are manageable for two leaders:
- One logistics-focused leader
- One leader guiding deeper spiritual conversations
Most teams fall between 12 and 24 participants.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
Impact Trips can be a powerful way for families to experience another culture and grow together. Please note that this is a physically and emotionally demanding experience. While children as young as 10 have participated, we cannot guarantee how each child will process the experience.
Age requirements:
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire trip
- Participants under 18 must complete one of the following forms:
What do I need to do to prepare?
Many Hands will coordinate travel, housing, meals, and in-country logistics. We ask participants to come prepared to reflect on how they are uniquely made and ready to use their gifts and talents to serve with purpose and humility. Additionally, participants are expected to attend three pre-trip orientation meetings led by team leaders.
How far in advance should I apply?
We recommend applying as early as possible to secure your spot. Trips fill quickly, and early application allows adequate time for preparation, communication, and logistics.
What happens after I apply?
After submitting your application:
- You will be contacted regarding the status of your application
- Once accepted, you will receive next steps to officially secure your spot
- Our Impact Manager will guide you through required forms, travel details, and preparation
