Stepping into local homes to distribute food bags allowed the Immanuel CRC Youth team to connect deeply with the heart of the community through shared stories and prayer. It was a Sunday of worship and blessing that left an imprint on everyone involved.

Today we woke up and ate our meal prepared by the group leaders. We realized that Joey and Cody were not in the room. We thought they were snorkeling, so we rode the ranger down the coastline looking for them. We came back and realized they were sleeping in their room the entire time!

We left for church at Grace Baptist Church, and it was so fun! We did lots of singing and dancing; it was full of love, and we were very welcomed! After church, we went to lunch at the Jib Room and had super yummy, new food! After, we started our adventure giving out all the food distribution bags. We met many new faces and heard their life-changing stories.

These stories had a huge impact on us. We prayed for them all and added all of their prayer requests. After a long, hot, and sweaty day, we drove back to camp. We ate a great supper, ended with a campfire, and played a few games of Uno! Today was a great, impactful, and heart-touching day!
