3 Points to Ponder
- When we connect with like-minded people who believe in us and cheer us on, it sparks a fire within us. How is your fire right now? Does it need a spark from those who believe in you?
- Every story is a window into another world, and listening to others’ stories helps us open our own windows wider. How’s your listening been lately?
- When the world’s darkness threatens to overwhelm you, seek out people of light. Surround yourself with those who will lift your gaze and help you see a different world. Who have you been seeking lately?

1 Story of Impact
This week Friday, it will be the 5th annual Many Hands Impact Breakfast. It was because of the Impact Breakfast that I was able to meet my now good friend, John O’Leary. In 2021, John shared his incredible story with us, of being completely burned at the age of nine and given less than a 1% chance to live. John pulled through because of the love and support of others and now dedicates his life to living inspired. He authors amazing books, speaks at countless events, and hosts an amazing podcast with the cream of the crop people in this world. I am a better person today because my world collided with John O’Leary’s, and his story moved me deeply and changed my life. We never know exactly how or when God will bring that person into our lives, but I can promise you, it will never happen trying to do everything on your own. Or alone. How mindful are you of the environments you choose to spend time in? Are you putting yourself in situations to hear inspiring stories? Or to share yours? This is why we put together the Impact Breakfast, as we challenge what’s possible together to inspire each other to be people of impact. If you can’t join us for breakfast, look to pull a small group of people together who inspire you. You won’t be sorry for that time together.
