The Celebrate Church IMPACT team continues to make incredible progress in Abaco! Join Kate and Luke as they share about Day 3, where they split up to tackle flooring, yard clearing, and painting, seeing amazing transformations and hearing inspiring stories of God’s faithfulness!

Day three we split up and spent the day at two different worksites. The boys got to work at Tamara and Matthew’s houses laying flooring, picking up trash, and clearing out the yard. In Tamara’s house, Jonah and Tyler finished up the self-leveling concrete while the other men worked to clear out the large garbage pile in the yard. Once the materials arrived, flooring started to get laid in both houses. Christian and Luke had fun learning to drive the skid loader while clearing out the lawn. Tamara was so excited to see so much progress done on the floors!

At the Smith’s house the ladies worked hard to get it finished before the weekend. We painted the trim and doors and were sweating a lot while doing it! As painting was wrapped up, Lisa worked hard to make sure the house was super clean and ready for the Smith’s to get their stuff back out.

Today was also an impactful day as we heard two stories that were so reflective of the faithfulness of God. We visited the Saunder’s house where the team last year worked and got to see the final product.

Having been on the team last year, we were again struck by how well the Saunder’s family gives their life to God and trusts he has a good plan. It was amazing to see the joy of the Saunders and Tamara at different stages of their projects, reminding us to be joyful in all aspects of our lives remembering that God is a faithful God.
