What a week!  After a long week, we were able to reflect on God’s blessings.

Church service at Kirk of the Pines

His many blessings included time to worship with new friends at Kirk of the Pines, enjoy local cuisine at Pete’s Pub, relaxation by the beach at Long Dock, ocean life up close and personal, Bahamian style ice cream and finally a testimony that challenged all of us to obey God’s calling and will in each of our lives, even if it’s for just one person.

Speaking of ice cream, the cherry on the top was the blessing of being on this team, each member put together with unique personalities and gifts that meshed perfectly to serve His purposes.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve Him and receive His abundant blessings.

This profile represents the collective voice of our Many Hands Impact teams. The reflections shared here are written by everyday individuals, from students and parents to local community members, who have traveled to Haiti and Abaco to experience the mission firsthand. They are not full-time staff. They are volunteers stepping out in faith to be love in action. In these posts, you will read raw, unpolished stories of personal transformation. Our guest writers document the shared humanity discovered while working alongside local leaders on safe structures, education initiatives, and community development. Impact trips are designed to change the participant as much as the community they serve. Through their words, you get a front row seat to the exact moments people discover their purpose and learn to live with intention.
