The team from the Many Hands Market in Spencer, Iowa came to Haiti bearing a very special gift. A group of children raised a sum of money during their Vacation Bible School to help those in need. They were determined that their gift would go to people they have never met and probably never will this side of heaven. The Market Rewards team has taken this responsibility very seriously. Wow! Day 2 was busy for the Market Reward Team! We visited families we had met on previous trips, bringing them clothing, food and many prayers. We bought 5 mattresses and 2 bed frames, loaded them all on the truck, then distributed them to those in need. At each home, Christi explained that the mattresses were purchased by the VBS kids’ offering. Several team members also painted in the new Admin Building. It was a wonderful, busy day, and we thought the pictures would tell our story today. Bondye Bon! God is good!
Today we visited a family near and dear to the Spencer team’s heart. We brought shirts and shoes for them, prayed for them, and loved on them.
We used some of the VBS offering money to purchase 5 mattresses and 2 bed frames. We stacked them all on the truck and set out to deliver them. What a ride!
Much of the team spent part of the day painting the new Admin Building.
